The Tesla Project is an all-day extravaganza dedicated to celebrating the genius of Nikola Tesla, a visionary scientist and engineer whose electrical inventions transformed the world. His most famous inventions include: AC power, the induction motor, fluorescent lighting, and radio. Inaugurated in 2010, The Tesla Project includes an art exhibition, a line-up of bands, Tesla-Roadsters, computer enrichment activities for children, a film, Tesla coil demos and how-to-presentations. This year we’re planning for an equally-electric event, with the art exhibition on view through July 27th!
We are currently seeking submissions for a juried art show inspired by Nikola Tesla and his scientific work. All works of art will be eligible, including collage, mixed media, 3-D, photo, poetry, film, et al.
